Around midday on the 14th, IPSS Medical Rescue responded to reports of an aircraft accident in outer-lying Stanger.
On arrival of paramedics it was established that a lite aircraft was flying in the area when it experienced mechanical problems. The pilot managed the emergency exceptionally well, managing to land the plane on a farm dirt road, without any injuries or damage.
Well done to the pilot for the good outcome.
