KZN VIP Medical Paramedics were responding to a medical emergency in the Mount Edgecombe area at around 8 pm on Friday evening when they were stopped by protesters on Duffs Road bridge. These Protestors had blocked the road with concrete boulders and set goods on fire.
Fortunately, the quick-thinking ambulance crews were able to turn around quickly and find another route to the emergency call however this delayed their response time.
These protests could severely impact innocent peoples lives.
