At approx 12:13 (Friday) a 20-year-old Ndwedwe – KZN resident ran into the Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) Headquarters seeking assistance after she was robbed by an unknown male.
The victim informed Reaction Officers that whilst on Todd Street, a male walked beside her and touched her left hand. She realised that he had applied a traditional medicine to her forearm.
According to the woman, she became disoriented and when she checked her bag a few minutes later her valuables were missing. A brown envelope with a piece of tile (seen on table) was found inside her bag.
R800 in cash, a Mobicell & a Samsung cellphone was stolen.
