On Wednesday, 28 July 2021, the police at Hartbeespoortdam joined forces with a local Non-Profitable Organisation (NPO), (Zonke Anti-Drug abuse organisation) for the anti-bullying and sexual offences awareness campaign at Ennis Thabong Primary School in Sunway.
In addition, learners from needy families received school shoes, socks and jerseys to keep warm during the cold winter weather. The uniform was donated by residents of Hartbeespoortdam and Sediba Plaza.
The Station Commander of Hartbeespoortdam, Colonel Willem Robbertse emphasised that it takes a village to raise a child and it is the responsibility of every citizen to develop a social conscious by ensuring that children are focusing on their studies and not deferred by their socio-economic conditions.
