This morning at 05:45, police officers from the Provincial Organised Unit assisted by the K9 Unit embarked on an operation at Chesterville.
The team proceeded to execute a search warrant at a house on Nhlengethwa Road in Chesterville. The police pounced on the unsuspecting man who was found in possession of 195 packets of rock cocaine.
The suspect was also found with cash of R1540-00. The estimated street value of the seized drugs is R20 000. A 32-year-old suspect is expected to appear before the Durban Magistrates Court tomorrow for possession of drugs.
