Yesterday afternoon, the Provincial Drug and Firearm Unit conducted another operation in the Point area. The team was following information about drugs being packed and stored for distribution.
The targets were identified and a takedown operation was conducted leading to the arrest of two suspects aged 24 and 32. The suspects were found in possession of 438.8 grams of heroin and 87 plastic wrappings of heroin. The drugs are valued at R68 000-00. The suspects are making their first appearance in the Durban Magistrates Court today.
