Join SADAG’s LIVE #FacebookFriday Online Q&A “Ask The Dr” Women’s Mental Health

It’s Women’s Month and SADAG would like to unpack Women’s Mental Health. During Covid-19, some of us have worried about getting sick or having a loved one get sick, missing University opportunities, losing a job, getting retrenched, having to facilitate online home schooling, feelings of loneliness, panic, and lack of control over when Covid-19 will end.

Many women have been struggling to cope with all these facets of their lives as the primary caretakers in their homes, while holding onto jobs and some even facing gender based violence on a daily bases.

SADAG are hosting a Facebook LIVE chat session, Friday 20 August from 1pm-2pm where experts will be unpacking Women’s Mental Health while sharing tips and tools via a LIVE video on the SADAG Facebook Page.

We will be joined by Psychiatrist Dr Lavinia Lumu who will be sharing the signs, symptoms, treatment, medication and also self-care tips on how to cope better with Mental Health during this time. Don’t miss this opportunity to learn more about Women’s Mental Health.
