The SAPS Giyani policing area in the Mopani District was painted blue yesterday, 06 August 2021, as the 2021 Provincial “Operation Basadi” Kickstarted, led by the Provincial Head of Operational Command Center (POCC) Brigadier Dikeledi Mangena accompanied by the Provincial Head of Corporate Communication and Liaison, Brigadier Motlafela Mojapelo, the Provincial Head of Crime Registra Brigadier Mulima and the SAPS Mopani District VISPOL Commander, Brigadier Marry Mashile.
As part of Women’s month celebrations, these type of operations which are still going to be conducted across the Province throughout August month, are intended to embrace the capabilities of women in blue in collaboration with the women from other Law enforcement agencies in carrying out their daily duties in the fight against crime within our province coupled with monitoring the compliance on Protocols pertaining to the Disaster Management Act.
