Well done to our members who helped nab, four suspects, on Tuesday this week. The suspects robbed a school pupil of a cellphone. They were using a Hyundai i10 vehicle during the robbery. The vehicle’s information was circulated and it was detected that it was also wanted for other robberies in the Bluff area.
Whilst members were busy with another operation in Wentworth, the vehicle was spotted. Members gave chase and intercepted the vehicle on Alabama Road.
The vehicle was then searched. A butterfly knife and a silver toy firearm were recovered. The complainant confirmed a firearm was pointed at her and a silver knife was also produced.
The four suspects were taken to Montclair SAPS after the stolen cellphone was recovered in the Point area. The suspects have been detained.
