An on-duty Metro Policeman was robbed of his firearm while having a meal at an eatery in Waterloo, KZN.
Members of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) learned of the robbery through a phone call. Reaction Officers responded to the call and on arrival, it was established that the uniformed Metro Policeman was having a meal when he was accosted by four men who robbed him of his cellphone and firearm. The robbers then sped off in a silver Toyota Etios.
The Policeman was not injured.
