New month, new lockdown level

MasterDrive is ready to welcome a new month and a new level. Adjusted level one lockdown is synonymous with other benefits for South Africans from a lowering infection rate to more freedom for businesses and in one’s personal life.

The CEO of MasterDrive, Eugene Herbert, says the company is optimistic about the change to level one because of all the benefits that come with it. “MasterDrive is ready to assist any company that needs to restart their normal training schedule or take advantage of the greater freedom provided.

“We have the capacity to assist with this and look forward to working with clients that were not able to meet training requirements due to previous lockdown levels. The last wave forced many businesses to tighten their current protocols and possibly fall behind with some of their health and safety schedules. With the change back to lockdown level one, training is back in full swing for many businesses with plenty of training to be caught up.”

Despite the relief, many South Africans feel to be back to level one MasterDrive will continue their COVID-19 protocols as if we were still at the highest level. “Our regular COVID-19 protocols will remain and be improved, should new information about transfer be revealed.

“COVID-19 protocols followed by MasterDrive since the start of the pandemic have served us and our clients well. As such none of these will change and we will continue to ensure that no undue risks are taken irrespective of the lockdown level. If your company has any additional requirements, we encourage you to let us know so that we can accommodate you as far as possible.”

MasterDrive recently moved their training offices to Nasrec Expo Centre. “Coincidentally, the opening of the office was on the same day that we moved to level one restriction. It was a fortunate coincidence as the new offices have greater capacity and will allow MasterDrive to train more candidates if required, while still meeting social distancing guidelines.

“We are looking forward to conducting training in our new premises. The greater capacity presents opportunities for us to assist every client in meeting their training needs.”

Let us all remain cautious and conscious that COVID-19 is still a reality. “Continue wearing your masks and observe hand hygiene and social distancing so that we can stay at level one for as long as possible,” says Herbert.
