The Road Traffic Infringement Agency (RTIA) in partnership with the Limpopo Department of Transport and Community Safety will launch three (3) Administrative Adjudication of Road Traffic Offences (AARTO) Service Outlets at the New Peter Mokaba Stadium, East Wing on Friday, 22 October 2021 at 08:00.
The AARTO Service Outlets act as an RTIA branch or local office rendering an array of AARTO service offerings to the public. The Agency calls upon motorists to take advantage of the AARTO Service Outlets in their communities. In an effort to provide quality service to motorists, the RTIA has deployed well-trained operators to render total solutions to all the AARTO related inquiries.
Road users will be afforded an opportunity to check their AARTO infringement status, and also receive advice on how to resolve such infringements by selecting from the available legislated elective options. No cash payments are taken at the AARTO Service Outlet. However, all the information on where payments can be made is available at the service points. In the future, only card payments will be made at the AARTO Service Outlets.
This significant milestone in the RTIA’s plans to increase service delivery points in South Africa will be attended by dignitaries from the Limpopo Province and Local Municipalities. Amongst those in attendance will be the MEC of Transport and Community Safety, Honorable Mavhungu Lerule-Ramakhanya, and RTIA’s Acting CEO, Ms. Dalian Mabula.
The RTIA will take part in the following build-up community awareness activities before the launch:
Thursday, 21 October 2021
– Know Your Traffic Fine Status Campaign @ Ladanna Driving License Testing Centre
– Knock ‘n Drop Campaign in Westenburg
– Taxi Rank Educational Campaign @ the Pick ‘n Pay Taxi Rank

The educational and awareness activities will target all road users including; ordinary motorists, taxi operators, passengers, and road users working from home.
At the heart of the AARTO process are the rights and options provided to motorists through the AARTO Act. AARTO Service Outlets are bringing such rights and options to the doorstep of motorists. AARTO is designed to ensure that there is justice in the adjudication of traffic infringements.
