A tenant on the property grew concerned after she found the front door and security gate leading into the main building unlocked. She contacted Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) requesting a wellness check on her landlord.
On arrival, Reaction Officers entered the residence and located the elderly male lying on the floor in one of the bedrooms. He was unresponsive. RUSA Medics were summoned to the scene and on arrival declared the man deceased.
Circumstances leading up to his death have not been established at this stage.
