A couple is expected to appear in the Bellville Magistrate’s Court tomorrow for possession and dealing in drugs.
A woman (35) and her husband (48) were arrested in Delft by the Hawks’ South African Narcotics Enforcement Bureau. Police recovered suspected mandrax tablets inside their vehicle and a search was also conducted in their house where 200 grams of crack cocaine, mandrax tablets, and 500 grams of tik were also recovered.
The drugs have an estimated street value of over R1.4 million. The investigation is ongoing.
