Five suspects to appear in court for possession and dealing in drugs

Five suspects, aged between 17 and 34 years, will appear before the Vredefort Magistrate court on Tuesday, 16 November 2021, for possession and allegedly dealing in drugs

It is alleged that on Monday, 15 November 2021 at about 05:30, the Trio task team members were operating in the Vredefort vicinity when they received information on a couple of addresses suspected to be dealing in drugs and dagga.

Information was followed and on arrival at the identified houses, the members arrested five suspects who comprise three females and two males.

The members confiscated 3 halves mandrax tablets, 30 wrapped plastic sachets of nyaope, 7 small plastic sachets of crystal meth, 58 plastic sachets of dagga, and cash. The five suspects will face charges of possession and dealing with drugs.
