Cash and cellphones were stolen during an armed robbery in Canelands, KZN this morning (Wednesday).
Members of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) responded to the robbery at approximately 07:23. On arrival, Reaction Officers were informed that three armed suspects held up two Ethiopian Nationals who were consulting with a mechanic regarding repairs on their vehicle. The robbers stole R4000 in cash and three cellphones from the victims before they fled in an unknown direction.
No injuries were reported.
