A 43-year-old bottle store manager was seriously injured after he was stabbed by a patron a short while ago.
Members of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) responded to a call for assistance to a bottle store situated on Moss Street.
On arrival, a man was discovered in a passage bleeding excessively from a stab wound to his hand. He explained that a patron became argumentative with a store employee after she asked him to wait in line to be served. The store manager intervened when the patron produced a knife and stabbed him in his hand. The suspect then fled the store in an unknown direction.
The injured male received first aid on the scene before being transported privately to a medical facility.
