Multiple injured in a bee attack in Brindhaven

Several people including three Paramedics and two Reaction Officers have suffered stings after a swarm of bees attacked a group of pedestrians.

Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) received multiple calls from Brindhaven residents reporting people screaming for help. Reaction Officers arrived on Rosemary drive and found a swarm of bees attacking several people who fled into a nearby bush.

Paramedics and Reaction Officers who attempted to assist the injured were stung repeatedly.

Residents are advised to stay indoors.
