Suspect arrested with mandrax with an estimated street value of R 100 000 in Steenberg

Concerted efforts to rid our communities of the illegal drug trade yielded positive results when members of the National Intervention Unit arrested a 54-year-old female for dealing in mandrax this morning.

The members followed up on information about drugs at premises in 12th Avenue Retreat searched the premises and found 2030 mandrax tablets hidden in the Wendy house.

The suspect will make a court appearance in the Wynberg Magistrates court once she has been charged.
