A man in his 30s has died after been knocked down by a passing vehicle after allegedly walking round the taxi he’d just exited on the side of the R71, just before Magoebaskloof, west of Tzaneen this afternoon.
ER24 paramedics were first on the scene at 16:29. They found the man lying in the yellow lane showing no signs of life. The man had unfortunately already succumbed to his injuries and he was declared dead on arrival.
Provincial EMS, the local Haenertsburg Neighbourhood Watch as well as the South African Police were also on scene.
