A woman was forced to hand over jewelry after suspects placed a firearm to her head during a home invasion on Colchester Crescent in Parkgate – KZN a short while ago (Friday).
Six armed suspects in a white VW Polo drove onto the property and held up the female, her domestic employee and her neighbor who was also on their property. The robbers placed a firearm to the female’s head and threatened to shoot her if she did not hand over all the jewelry they had in their home. After handing over a large amount of jewelry, the robbers stole six cellphones and fled in their getaway vehicle.
Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) received a call at approximately 15:41. Reaction Officers conducted an extensive search for the suspects however no arrests were made.
The victims were not injured.
