Decomposed body discovered in Redcliffe

Reaction Officers & Paramedics were forced to breach the door to a home and gain entry after residents from Summit Drive – Area 2 in Redcliffe reported the smell of a decomposing body this morning.

Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) received the call for assistance at 10:34 on Monday 14/04/2022. Upon arrival Officers/Medics entered the home and found a man lying on his bed in an advanced stage of decomposition.

When interviewed the neighbors informed Reaction Officers that the managed approx 40 years was last seen two weeks ago. They decided not to report him missing believing that he has left with his vehicle.

Reaction Officers checked the garage and the deceased blue Toyota Corolla was not located. No details of the vehicle were made available.

The cause of death has not been established.
