Hawks seek public’s help to find suspects in the murder of an off duty police official

The Directorate for Priority Crime Investigation (Hawks) is seeking the public’s help to find two alleged suspects for a murder that took place on the afternoon of 07 September 2021 in the area of Victoria Street, Parow.

The Hawks’ National Priority Violent Crimes team (NPVC) responded to a call about a shooting at a home in the area around 15:36 and found a person who had been shot. The off-duty police official, who was stationed at the National Parliament Protection and Security Services, was shot and killed while sitting on the front porch with his cousin. The two colored males fled the scene using a red “Mark 1” VW Golf.
