A 44-year-old man was murdered shortly after visiting family in Meadowlands Road in Parkgate, KZN last night (Friday).
Members of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) arrived on scene at approximately 22:59. The victim was discovered on the road. His clothes were soaked in blood. He sustained multiple stab wounds and was pronounced deceased by Medics from the Provincial Ambulance Service. It is alleged that the deceased was intoxicated when he was attacked.
The motive for the murder was not established.
