A grey Toyota Corolla was stolen from the Berea area during the course of yesterday.
The vehicle was circulated and members from Umlazi Metro Police and Alpha911 Tactical Support patrolled the Lamontville area checking out hot spots. After a dedicated search, the vehicle was recovered abandoned.
Unfortunately, by the time it was found, the interior had been stripped.
