The body of an unidentified male was discovered by pedestrians hanging from the side of a bridge in Maidstone, Tongaat – KZN this morning.
A member of the public contacted Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) and reported the discovery. RUSA members were dispatched to the scene and on arrival examined the male. He showed no signs of life and was declared deceased.
The motive for the suicide was not established.
