Gumede has been reported missing by his employer this morning (Tuesday, 12/04/2022) after he failed to return to his Ndwedwe, KZN home last night. According to his family, Gumede left his place of employment in Umhlanga, KZN yesterday and boarded a taxi to Verulam.
He last made contact with his wife informing her that the taxi to Ndwedwe, KZN was unable to access the area due to the roads being flooded. He opted to walk the rest of the way. Gumede was not heard of since. He was dressed in a black t-shirt with a Mercedes Benz logo, a black jacket, and black pants.
