Members of SAPS Villieria arrested two suspects and recovered housebreaking implements, an unlicensed firearm, and ammunition on Saturday, 02 April 2022 following an attempted housebreaking incident in the area.
The police, a local security company, and community members were reportedly alerted of suspects attempting to break into a house in the area of Villiera. Swift action by the SAPS members in collaboration with security guards of Kilner Park Security resulted in two suspects being apprehended.
A search led the police to recover an unlicensed firearm, ammunition, and housebreaking implements.
