As part of the Easter long weekend the Road Traffic Infringement Agency (RTIA), will conduct the AARTO Public Education Easter Awareness campaign
from 12 – 18 April 2022. During the campaign, motorists will be engaged on road safety issues and informed on AARTO elective options.
Many South Africans will be hitting the road once Friday comes around; the RTIA in partnership with Faith-Based Organizations will drive road
safety programs such as Hotspot Prayer for Safer Roads. This is the pledge to the road user community to save lives on our roads.
The AARTO Public Education Easter Awareness campaign is conducted in partnership with provincial traffic departments of transport and local municipalities in taking AARTO services closer to the broad user community. The campaign will focus on the following areas:
