Two cell phones were stolen during a home invasion on Marula Circle, Trenance Park – KZN.
Members of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) were called out to the scene at approximately 20:34 by residents in the area. On arrival, Reaction Officers were informed that four suspects in a blue Toyota Conquest (registration unknown) gained entry onto the property.
The victim explained that the suspects who entered the home were armed with firearms while one of their accomplices remained in the getaway vehicle. The robbers demanded jewelry from the family. They were disturbed by neighbors who began screaming for assistance when they realised that the family was being held up. The robbers fled with Samsung and Nokia cellphones.
No injuries were reported.
