The Provincial Commissioner of Police in Limpopo Lieutenant General Thembi Hadebe has lauded the ongoing weekly Police operations in Limpopo which continue to yield positive results. This is after over one thousand suspects were arrested during the latest operations that were conducted over a period of a week.
The suspects were arrested for various crimes that included murder, robberies, rape, kidnapping, driving under the influence of alcohol, illegal possession of firearm and ammunition, possession of the suspected stolen property, Contravention of Immigration Act, possession and dealing in drugs, possession of illicit cigarettes and other serious crimes.
The suspects are appearing before the various courts across the Province.
