SAPS Kabega Park detectives are investigating a case of reckless or negligent driving after a collision between a minibus (taxi) and a Toyota Hilux bakkie occurred last night, 21 May 2022 at the corners of Cape and Papenskuil Roads.
It is alleged that at about 17:30, a taxi was traveling on Cape Road towards Westering and as it approached the intersections at Cape and Papenskuil roads, a white Toyota Hilux bakkie allegedly made a U-turn in front of the taxi. Both vehicles collided, resulting in the taxi overturning. Several passengers in the taxi were injured and were taken to various local hospitals.
A case of reckless or negligent driving is under investigation.
