Suspect nabbed in possession of water pump valued R50 000 and housebreaking implements in Dealesville

SAPS members were on patrol when they noticed a suspicious person, he tried to flee but was arrested and found in possession of suspected stolen property and housebreaking implements.

On 6 May 2022 at about 14:00 Constables Butinyana Dangube and Thotobolo Sebotsa of Dealesville Visible Policing were busy with their routine vehicle patrol on R64 road when they noticed a male carrying an object folded with black plastic on his shoulder with a traveling bag. The members approached the suspect and he dropped the object and tried to flee.

The suspect was chased and caught. The following were found in his presence a water pump valued at R50 000-00 and housebreaking implements. He could not produce documents that prove ownership.

A man aged 43 was arrested for possession of suspected stolen property, and housebreaking implements. He will appear on 09 May 2022 in Dealesville Magistrate Court.

The District Commissioner of Lejweleputswa, Maj Gen Lerato Molale applauded the two Constables Dangube and Sebotsa for their vigilance and their commitment to ensure the safety of the property of the law-abiding citizens.
