A suspect who fled a property after attempting to steal valuables was arrested by Reaction Officers on Primrose Drive in Southridge – KZN this morning (Monday).
The homeowner contacted Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) at 09:02 after she noticed the suspect helping himself to valuables from her yard. He fled when he realised he had drawn attention to himself. The female provided Reaction Officers with a detailed description of the thief. Officers patrolled the area and noticed a male matching the description fleeing on Primrose Drive. He was apprehended and restrained. He was positively identified by the homeowner.
The suspect was detained at the Verulam SAPS.
