A vehicle used in an attempted armed robbery has been recovered by Alpha911 Tactical Support members.
On the 20th of June, the red Mercedes Benz C200 was hijacked from the uMlazi area.
It was later used in an attempted armed robbery that occurred at a PEP store, at the City View Centre.
Members were on high alert for the vehicle, which was recovered today by members of Lamontville SAPS, Metro Police SPU, and Alpha911 Tactical Support. It was found abandoned in the Lamontville area.
