The decomposing body of an elderly man was discovered during a wellness check-in at his informal home on Karnigadu Road in Redcliffe – KZN.
Neighbours contacted Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) after they made the discovery.
RUSA members were dispatched to the call and on arrival met with the caller who stated that they decided to conduct a wellness check on the man due to him last being seen on Wednesday. He was also unwell for several weeks.
The deceased was a plumber who lived in the area for nearly 15 years.
