House on fire in Watsonia

A room in a house on Watsonia Drive in Watsonia – KZN was extensively damaged during a fire today.

Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) received a call for assistance.

On arrival, Reaction Officers were informed that neighbors managed to contain the fire to one of the bedrooms.

The Ethekwini Fire & Rescue Services arrived shortly thereafter and extinguished the blaze.

The homeowner was not on the property at the time of the incident.

Circumstances leading up to the blaze have not been established.
