A 4-year-old girl who lost her way while playing with friends was re-united with her mother in Parkgate – KZN this afternoon.
Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) received a call from a resident of B Section in Parkgate – KZN requesting assistance to locate the family of the child. On arrival, it was established that the girl was found crying on the side of the road.
A passerby led her to the caller’s home and asked them to assist in tracking down the child’s family. The girl could only provide her mother’s name. RUSA members were in the process of canvassing the area when the child’s mother arrived.
She was under the impression that the minor was playing with her friends and was unaware that she went missing.
