Earlier this evening IPSS Medical Rescue received reports of a multi vehicle collision on the N2 between Tongaat and Ballito.
On arrival of paramedics it was ascertained that the driver of a light motor vehicle lost control and veered into oncoming traffic, subsequently colliding with two other vehicles.
Two patients sustained critical injuries and three others sustained injuries ranging from minor to moderate. One of the critical patients was entrapped and had to be extricated from the vehicle. All patients were transported to nearby facilities by IPSS Medical Rescue for further treatment.
