SAPS Kabega Park detectives are seeking the community’s assistance in tracing the next of kin of an unidentified couple found murdered in the bushes near the N2 freeway (Greenbushes) this morning, 11 July 2022.
It is alleged that at about 09:00, police were alerted to the discovery of the bodies by a person walking in the bushes. On arrival, an unknown male was found sitting in front of a tree with his neck tied to the tree. A second body, a female was found about 5 meters away. She was lying face down on the ground. Both bodies were in the early stages of decomposition.
They are between the ages of 20 and 35 years. A post-mortem will be conducted on both deceased persons to determine the exact cause of death.
Police are investigating two cases of murder.
