A successful combined operation led to the arrest of two suspects and the recovery of stolen property in Whittlesea.
On 08 July 2022 at about 16:00 positive information was received by members of Crime Intelligence about two males who were in possession of the suspected stolen property at a house in Sada location in Whittlesea.
The information was immediately followed up together with the Whittlesea detectives and the operation was conducted successfully two suspects aged 22 and 23 were arrested.
The investigation continued and on 10 July 2022 at about 14:00 a follow-up was made by the Whittlesea Detectives and an identified house at Sada locality was searched and stolen property to the value of R6500-00 was recovered.
The District Commissioner Major General Rudolph Adolph commended the members on the successful combined operation that made the successful arrests and recoveries possible.
