Earlier this morning Medi Response responded to reports of a man who had been assaulted and stabbed in Umhlali.
On arrival of personnel, it was reported that the injured man had allegedly assaulted a woman on the roadside, which was witnessed by two males. The two males allegedly approached the man and proceeded to assault him, before stabbing him four time.
Crews stabilised the man on scene before transporting him to a medical facility for further care.
