Public assistance is required to locate 22-year-old Rakesh Jankipersad.
Jankipersad is a resident of Willow Close in Trenance Park – KZN. He left his home at approximately 08:00 on Monday (15/08/2022) morning and was expected to visit Osindisweni Government Hospital for his monthly medical examination. According to his mother, they confirmed that he did not proceed to the hospital.
He was seen on Wick Street in the Verulam CBD – KZN on the day he went missing. Jankipersad has a history of alcohol abuse and has previously been reported missing. His family is concerned for his safety as the last time he went missing he was severely assaulted by unknown males in central Verulam.
Jankipersad is approximately 1.5 meters tall and dark in complexion. He was dressed in a grey tracksuit. His hair is short on the side and long at the top with blonde streaks. He uses an earring on his right ear.
