A 42-year-old man suffered moderate injuries after he was run over by his own bakkie on William Street in Mt. Moreland – KZN today (Friday).
Medics from Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) were returning from an emergency at approximately 11:54 when they were informed of the incident by the victims friend. On arrival, it was established that the driver of a white Mazda bakkie was visiting a friend. He parked his vehicle on the side of the road and was walking to the house when he realised that his vehicle was rolling. He attempted to stop it but was run over.
He suffered injuries to his chest & back and was transported to hospital by ambulance.
