A female passenger was trapped in a vehicle that overturned on Quarry Road in Redcliffe – KZN this morning (Sunday).
Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) received a call for assistance.
Reaction Officers and RUSA Medics were dispatched to the scene and on arrival discovered a white Toyota Etios lying on its roof at the base of an embankment.
The driver and two passengers freed themselves from the wreckage prior to the arrival of Fire Responders.
Medics with assistance from Reaction Officers and SAPS Officials extracted a female passenger who was trapped in the vehicle.
The driver and two passengers sustained moderate injuries and were transported to the hospital by ambulance.
Circumstances leading up to the accident were not immediately established.
