Midlands EMS Howick Advanced life support paramedics and Ambulances were dispatched to the R617 just before Mphophomeni yesterday afternoon.
Upon arrival, it was found that all the occupants were ejected from the vehicle with 1 of the sustaining critical injuries and requiring urgent Advanced life support treatment and being placed on a manual ventilator on the scene.
All patients sustained moderate to critical injuries and were treated on scene before being transported to various hospitals for further care.
The exact cause of the accident is under investigation by local authorities.
