On 31 August 2022 at about 14:00 Odendaalsrus Police members were summoned to a gruesome scene where the body of a woman was found lying in the farm vicinity next to K10 Section. The body was found by a resident of Kutloanong who was busy cutting wood.
On arrival, members were directed to a spot where the body of an unknown female in her late 20’s was found. The deceased has a wedding ring on her finger. Clothes of the deceased were scattered on the scene, her throat was slit and there is a suspicion that she was raped.
A case of murder has been registered for further investigation. No one has been reported missing and we are appealing to anyone who might have lost her relative, they must come to Odendaalsrus Police Station.
