Female shot multiple times in Brookdale

A 35-year-old woman was shot multiple times on Elfbrook Place in Brookdale – KZN.

Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) received a call from a member of the public reporting multiple shots being fired. Reaction Officers were dispatched to the area and located the scene of the shooting.

It was established that the occupants of a white Toyota Yaris with registration ND 287 455 fired 16 rounds at the victim who was in the yard before they sped off. Five bullets struck the female.

She was transported to the hospital prior to the arrival of First Responders.

The motive for the shooting has not been established.
