Stabbed Victim Dumped In Bush: Verulam – KZN

A 42-year-old intoxicated male was stabbed and dumped in a bush along Todd Street in the vicinity of Everest Heights – KZN.

A passerby contacted Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) at approximately 08:58 after he discovered the man on the side of the road. Reaction Officers were dispatched to the location and on arrival found that the victim had sustained a stab wound to his right thigh.

The victim had little recollection of the incident. He recalled that he was drinking heavily and gambling at a local pub during the course of last night. He was attacked and pushed down an embankment while walking home. He was unable to make his way up the embankment due to him being intoxicated and remained in the bush. This morning (Sunday) he managed to crawl up to the main road where he was located by a passerby.

The victim was transported to hospital.
