Kwazulu Private Ambulance Service responded to the N2 near Empangeni Richard’s Bay off-ramp, for reports of a collision.
When emergency services arrived they found that 2 vehicles had been involved in a collision.
Paramedics quickly assessed the scene and found that 2 patients had sustained critical injuries, 2 patients had sustained serious injuries and a further 2 patients had sustained minor injuries.
The patients were treated and stabilized on the scene before being transported to hospital for further treatment.
